We get many questions from first-time customers about skip bin pickup preparation. This is totally understandable!
Below is all you need to know about our pickup process.
At time of booking, our admin superstars will confirm a pickup date to be booked in. If you are wanting the skip bin picked up earlier this is no problem, just call the office and request this. As a rule, we generally need at least 1 days notice.
If you are needing an extension this can be arranged too, just confirm by calling our admin team. There may be additional hire fees applicable.
We can give rough schedule times, however there are no exact times due to variability in traffic. We recommend organising your skip bin to be picked up the day prior if you are needing it gone by a certain time.
Prior to pickup, please ensure there is sufficient access for the driver to collect the bin. This includes ensuring your car is not parked in front of the entry way. Our bin truck sizes range from approximately 2.4 metres wide (and greater). It is encouraged to follow our 'do not fill above' line on the bins as the bins are tarped before transporting them. Overflowing bins stacked beyond their capacity may result in our drivers having to leave behind rubbish in order to pickup the bin. Our friendly bin drivers are flexible but not responsible for picking up any rubbish lying outside of the bins. Please remove any piles of soil, machinery, equipment and any overhead hazards.
We love meeting your dogs however we would appreciate it if you could please tie them up on pickup day.
If there has been significant rain and your bin has been placed on the grass, there is a chance of the grass tearing on pickup from wet soil. If the ground is boggy, let our office know and we will wait for better conditions.
